Features of the Badiu MReport System

Badiu MReport is a report management and monitoring system for the Moodle Platform. Below is a summary of its main features.

1) Generates various types of reports from Moodle Platform instances (version 2.7 or higher), making Moodle data more transparent. There are several options such as:

  • Course / course category report
  • Enrollment report
  • Grade report
  • Report of students who completed the course
  • Report of absent students / tutors
  • Group report
  • User report
  • Cohort group report
  • Forum participation report
  • Quiz report
  • Assignment report
  • Tutor report
  • Access log report

2) Reports can be exported to Excel or scheduled. Scheduling can be used to send reports by email or to send notification messages to filtered users;

3) Monitors student performance and participation based on access indicators and final course grades. Monitoring is done through scheduled reports and email alerts. For example, a student should receive an automatic notification message if they do not access the course environment for a certain period. They can also be notified if they do not achieve a passing grade or do not complete the course by the expected date;

5) Automatically forwards to the tutor/coordinator a list of absent students or those with poor performance. For example, if the student has not yet completed the course and has been inactive on Moodle for some time, a report with the list of these students should be automatically sent to the tutor;

6) Performs automatic monitoring of the tutor's performance based on access indicators and pending tasks awaiting correction. The system can be programmed to send automatic alert messages to the tutor if they have not accessed the course environment within a specified period. It can also be programmed to track assignments submitted by students awaiting correction for more than x days;

7) Sends to the coordination the list of tutors with pending issues. For example, weekly or every 5 days, the coordination should receive a list of all tutors who have not accessed the course environment for a certain time.
